Case Maker Spigen Teases the Nexus 5

When you get a barrage of leaks about an unconfirmed device, chances are, that device actually exists and the launch date is just around the corner.   Such is the case of the Nexus 5.  With the volume of leaks and rumors about this Android handset from Google, the only thing lacking really is the official announcement from the company.

Google ‘s secrets are not as tightly sealed as Apple’s, or Samsung’s, for that matter.  Every Nexus device is heavily leaked so in all probability, we will indeed be seeing a Nexus 5.   If photos and specs leaks are to be believed, the Nexus 5 will rock the following specs.

Now there is a new photo, a render to be more precise, released by popular case maker Spigen.  Here is the photo has the caption “Nexus 5 Revolution. Be ready”.  Spigen is obviously making cases for the Nexus 5 and the early release of the photo is clearly a strategy to get some free publicity.  Whatever the case, the photo shows the back of the Nexus 5 but what it brings are more details.  The now familiar lens and flash of the Nexus 5 is shown in the photo but what’s interesting is that the Nexus 5 appears to have a metallic band on the side.  Here is the photo from Spigen.

The Nexus 5 will be a hit considering that the price is expected to be in the $300 range when it launches.  The Nexus 4 was a well-priced device so it’s expected that the Nexus 5 will also be as affordable specially since it is still made by LG, the same company which made the Nexus 4.
