Nokia is on a roll. The steady flow of new Lumia devices is impressive and should only be good for the Windows platform. The Lumia name was used on smartphones that run Windows Phone OS but now, the use of the name also crosses over to the tablet sphere.
The first tablet from Nokia has been unveiled at the Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi. Called the Nokia Lumia 2520, the tablet runs Windows RT, the rather limited version of Windows 8 OS. If you’re okay with Windows RT, then the Lumia 2520 should be worth checking out considering its excellent design and its equally impressive hardware specs.
The 10-inch full 1080p display on the Nokia Lumia 2520 is reinforced with Gorilla Glass 2. It runs on a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU and is powered by a beefy 8000mAh battery. The Lumia 2520 also packs a 6.7MP autofocus rear camera with ZEISS optics and a 2MP HD wide-angle front camera.
Pricing is also quite reasonable as the Nokia Lumia 2520 has a retail price of $499. The Nokia Lumia 2520 comes in red, white, cyan and black colors.
