The Nexus 7 (2013) is still fresh from its launch a few months ago and we’re already hearing about another possible Nexus tablet from Google. The new tablet is shown in the Android website’s Apps and Entertainment section. The page shows a lady holding a tablet that’s much different from the Nexus 7 or the Nexus 10. It’s a new tablet that possibly measures 8 inches that’s why people are calling it the Nexus 8.
The alleged Nexus 8 has a thinner bezel on the top and bottom parts, making it a better-looking device than the Nexus 7 (2013). It looks bigger than the Nexus 7 but looks much smaller than the Nexus 10 so it could only be an 8-inch slate. An 8.3-inch display is a possibility if LG will make the Nexus 8 since it will be something similar to the LG G Pad 8.3. LG made the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 so it’s not a hard to imagine that the Korean company will also work on an 8-inch tablet for Google.
The Nexus 8 rumor could be true considering that the source of the leak is Google itself. The company leaked the Moto X and the Nexus 5, purposely or otherwise, so there’s a high probability that the Nexus 8 is a real thing. A Nexus 8 would be priced between the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 so it should turn out to be one of the cheaper options in the 8-inch range.
