LG has recently announced it’s new L series of phones, the L90, L70 and L40. Similar to last year’s line up, the L series is made up of mid and low range phones.
The L90 will have a 4.7 inch display (960×540), a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 8GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, 8 MP camera and a 2,540mAh battery. The L70 has a smaller 4.5 inch screen (800×400), a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 4GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, either an 8 or 5 MP camera (depending on the market) and a 2,100mAh battery. The last phone, L40 has the smallest screen at 3.5 inch screen (480×320), a dual core processor and just 512MB of RAM. All phones are powered by LG’s version of Android 4.4 KitKat.
The specs of the LG L90 and L70 look good for mid range handsets. And with KitKat, it might become competitive at this range. At this point, I guess the price will determine the success these phone will have. Expect to see the phones in the MWC 2014.
