Oppo has just unveiled its latest phablet, the Oppo U3. The smartphone features a large 5.9 inch 1080p display and a 64-bit octa core processor.
The phablet has a large 5.9 inch 1080p display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a pixel density of 377 ppi. Powering the device is a 1.7 GHz octa core processor with a 64-bit Mediatek 6752 chipset. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, backed up by microSD card slot. It has a large 3,000 mAh battery that supports fast charging, enabling up to 75% charge in as fast as 30 minutes.
The U3 won’t disappoint when it comes to photography too. The main camera features a Sony IMX214 sensor with 13MP. It can shoot up to 50MP photos through some software magic. Other camera features include night mode, ultimate beauty 3.0 and slo-mo video playback at 120 fps.
Interestingly, Oppo made the U3 friendly to music lovers. The Chinese company included an AK4961 audio chip which delivers hi-fi audio output.
Lastly, the device runs Android 4.4.4 out of the box, and will come in two colors – dark blue and white. Price and availability were not yet revealed, but expect more details soon.
