UK based accessories brand Boompods is now available in the Philippines! The company launched an assortment of wireless portable speakers, headphones, and powerbanks in an event attended by media, bloggers and it’s local partners.
Setting itself apart from other accessories, Boompods products feature unique colorful designs, and crisp and full-bodied sound quality. Among its products, the company will be bringing in a range of audio products such as the Double Blaster — a Bluetooth portable speaker with a 3-watt speaker, passive subwoofer technology, and 6 hours of battery life; the wireless Headpods — Bluetooth soft touch headphones with two 40mm speakers and an 8 hour battery life; and an assortment of other in-ear and sports headphones, powerbanks, audio accessories and sync cables.
“We were looking at tech gadgets and we were, ‘Why are all the gadgets looking the same?’ I mean, speakers are square, music is coming out from the top, there’s no color, some of the companies are very conservative in their design, or it’s taking too long for newer models to come out. We said ‘Let’s challenge ourselves, can we actually make electronic gadgets like this,’” said Prem Balani, the founder of Boompods.
