ASUS announces 256GB ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition

Okay, so ASUS maybe pushing it a bit with this one. When the Taiwanese multinational tech company announced the ZenFone 2 Deluxe, we didn’t expect them to follow it up with a Special Edition version as well. What makes this special is its huge (and I mean HUGE) 256GB storage capacity.

The smartphone was unveiled in Brazil, and is, for the most part, just the Deluxe edition with an upgraded 256GB storage. The ZenFone has the same display, processor, RAM and camera.

Now, we can think of a number of things to do with the huge storage (apps, games, HD movies, tons of music and photos, some art films maybe…), but this could be crossing the line (the line of “too much of a good thing”). Then again, I sometimes have a tendency not to delete stuff (hoarder?) so this could be a good device for me.

The ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition will be out in Brazil in September, with no information regarding the price.
