ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ZenFone 2 Laser, and ZenFone 2 Selfie officially in the Philippines

ASUS ZenFans rejoice! The ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser, and ASUS ZenFone 2 Selfie has officially launched in the Philippines. The event, dubbed ZenFestival Manila, was held at The Eye in Green Sun, Makati, and was graced by none other than ASUS Global CEO, Jerry Shen.

The new ZenFones were first announced in India early this month. The highly anticipated smartphones were welcomed by the crowd with cheers, especially when the prices were announced.

ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe

The first ZenFone introduced was the ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe. It is essentially an upgrade of the first ZenFone 2, which now saw a storage boost to 128 GB. The Deluxe also features a new back casing design with polygonal aesthetics. Other specs include a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3, a 2.3 GHz Intel Atom Z3589 quad core processor, 4 GB of RAM, and a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery with BoostMaster fast charging capability.

The ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe retails for PHP 17,995.

ASUS ZenFone 2 Selfie

Next up is the ZenFone 2 Selfie, so named because of its front and rear 13 MP PixelMaster cameras. The smartphone features a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. It also has a laser autofocus sensor for faster and more accurate focusing, and an affordable price tag of only PHP 11,995.

ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser

The ZenFone 2 Laser was the next device announced. This smartphone has a more affordable price tag and the same 13 MP PixelMaster camera as the original ZenFone 2. It also comes equipped with a laser autofocus sensor (in case the name didn’t give it away), a snappy Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB of RAM and a bright and colorful IPS HD screen with Gorilla Glass 4.

The ZenFone 2 Laser has two screen variants, a 5.5 inch and a 5 inch. The 5.5 inch retails for PHP 8,695, while the 5 inch for PHP 7,695.
