A quirky game called Tanim Bala recently popped up in the Google Play Store a few days ago. The game pokes fun at recent allegations of airport personnel planting bullets on passengers’ luggage.
Developed by Kulit Games, the objective is to avoid becoming a victim of the said scam. The mechanics are simple and very straight forward. “Greedy Administrators” drop bullets from a platform. You have to press either the left or right arrows to make sure your game character doesn’t catch the bullets.
The game’s description reads as follows:
These greedy Administrators want to plant a bullet in your bag and if they succeed, you’ll end up paying $1000. Of course, you would not let them do that!
Now you’d have to move the cursor from left to right as fast as you can to avoid the bullets that fall to your luggage.
The game is both fun and sad at the same time. Its a good time waster, but it also serves as a commentary on the current state of governance in our country.
At the time of writing this article, Tanim Bala has over 50,000 downloads. It has a 4.6 star rating and has become popular enough to spawn a copycat or two. The game has ads that pop up after each round ends.
