Check PH Properties in VR with ZipMatch

Online real estate marketplace ZipMatch officially launched its 360 Virtual Reality (VR) service for the Philippine real estate market. The service will give real estate sellers a new way of conducting on-demand viewing of residential projects and model units to potential buyers without the need go on an actual viewing trip.

Property Viewings through Virtual Reality

Since Oculus Rift debuted, the adoption of virtual reality has increased across industries abroad. Companies like Samsung, Sony, HTC and Facebook have significantly invested in the technology to allow people to explore interactive viewable content via affordable viewer headsets.

With the new service, ZipMatch is the first company in Southeast Asia to use virtual reality for real estate in the region. This latest innovation makes the Philippines the first in Southeast Asia to have a resource or database of 360 Virtual Reality moving images of primary and secondary real estate projects.

The service will be available as a subscription feature under the ZipMatch Pro, a full-service app (available on desktop, iOS and Android) for brokers, sales agents, developers and real estate sellers. The app allows subscribers to browse, select, and showcase their properties from ZipMatch’s 300+ video-quality moving images of properties in 360 degrees taken from major cities all over the country, including Metro Manila, NCR, Metro Cebu and Bacolod.

For brokers who wish to bring a more immersive experience, they can set up virtual reality access using the complementary pair of ZipMatch 360 VR goggles. Because the images are in virtual reality, home seekers who view a featured property can actually access not just one room, but all rooms of a featured property as if they have stepped into an entirely different section of the home.
