The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is now official. The handset features Snapdragon 625, dual cameras, 4,000 mAh battery.

Aside from the Mi Pad 4, Xiaomi also announced the Redmi 6 Pro, the company’s newest bang-for-buck device. As with most of their devices, the handset features compelling specs balanced with pocket friendly price points.
Looking at the specs, the Redmi 6 Pro belongs in the mid-range category. It has a 5.84-inch full HD+ 19:9 IPS display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, up to 4GB RAM, up to 64GB storage, and a large 4,000 mAh battery.

A 12MP + 5MP dual rear camera handles photography, while a 5MP front shooter takes care of selfies. Both are powered by Xiaomi’s artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
A fingerprint sensor sits at the back. The phone also supports face unlock, for quick access.
The handset comes in three RAM/storage configurations, namely 3GB/32GB, 4GB/32GB, and 4GB/64GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is available for pre-order with a release date that starts on June 26, 2018. The 3GB/32GB variant is priced at CNY999, the 4GB/32GB for CNY1,199, and the 4GB/64GB for the CNY1,299.
Converted, that’s around PHP8,200, PHP9,900, and PHP10,700. For now, local pricing or availability is yet to be announced.
