The OPPO F9 is finally up on OPPO Philippines website, ahead of its launch later today. It confirms what we know about the phone, specs, features and all.
There’s nothing new here, but we do get a glimpse of what the new color, Starry Purple, will look like. Looking at the image, you can see it has a nice purple tinge with gold specks that gradients to a darker blueish purple combination. It also has gold accents for the logo, the fingerprint sensor, and the camera. The color looks great on photo, and it might turn out to be a crowd favorite.
Aside from the color, the retail package was also mentioned. It will come with the usual set of accessories, including a case and a pre-installed screen protector.

As for the rest of the specs, let me refresh your memories. The OPPO F9 comes with a 6.3-inch full HD+ Waterdrop display, 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a 25MP selfie camera, and a 16MP + 2MP dual sensor module at the rear.
It is powered by a 3,500 mAh battery with VOOC fast charging, and runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android Oreo. It comes in three color gradients — Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple.
The F9 is set to launch today, August 15, in the Philippines and Vietnam. In Thailand, its price is listed at THB10,990. When converted, that’s around PHP17600.
