Huawei Y5 2019 with Helio A22 announced

Huawei announces another new smartphone in the Huawei Y5 2019. The handset can be described as a toned down version of the Huawei Y6 Pro.

The Huawei Y5 2019 comes with a 5.72-inch HD+ IPS display with 1520 x 720 resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and a dewdrop notch. Under the hood, the phone sports a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor with 2GB RAM and 16/32GB storage.

For photography, the Y5 2019 relies on a 13MP rear camera with an f/1.8 lens. It also has a 5MP shooter for selfies.

The rest of the specs include a microUSB port, an FM radio, Android 9 Pie, and face unlock. There’s no fingerprint scanner here, though.

One key look it has is that the Amber Brown color has a faux leather look back panel.

So far, no word yet on the Huawei Y5 2019‘s price or availability.
