Smart, hailed to have the fastest fixed and mobile networks in the country, and OPPO, one of the world’s top smartphone brands, launched their respective marketing and sales campaigns in an effort to attract customers, leveraging strong LTE connectivity and providing top-of-the-line devices.
In the last quarter of 2018, OPPO captured 24% of the total market share, and expects further improvement with its partnership with the country’s leading telco.

The two companies will offer LTE-capable smartphones through Smart plans starting with the OPPO A3s. The phone comes with a Smart LTE Prepaid SIM with free 1GB data valid for 3 days. It also comes with data rewards for a year, where subscribers can get 500MB for every PHP 150 accumulated load, valid for 3 days.
The OPPO A3s is priced at PHP 5,990 from its original price of PHP 6,990. It features a 6.2-inch IPS display, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, and a 4230mAh battery. It also has a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup with an 8MP selfie shooter.
