Realme recently unveiled the Realme 3i. The handset is essentially the Realme 3, sharing the same specs and a diamond-cut design at the back.
Having options is always a good thing. And this new device is definitely one that gives Realme another competitor in the already tight field of affordable midrange smartphones.
Looking at its specs, the Realme 3i fronts a 6.22-inch HD+ IPS display with a dewdrop notch and thin bezels. Inside, it has a MediaTek Helio P60 processor, and RAM/storage options of 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. It also packs a large 4,230 mAh battery, which is slowly becoming a norm for midrangers.

Cameras are the same as the Realme 3’s with 13MP + 2MP dual cameras at the back and a 13MP selfie shooter in front.
Now what really sets the Realme 3i apart from the 3 is its back panel. It has a diamond-cut design we first saw on the OPPO F7. While not entirely new, the decision to go with a something different is a welcome change in today’s gradient filled market.
As for the price, it is what we’d expect from Realme. In India, the Realme 3i is light on the wallet with a price of INR 7,999 ( roughly PHP 6,000) for the 3GB + 32GB, and INR 9,999 (around PHP 7,500) for the 4GB + 32GB. Those interested can get the phone on Flipkart and Realme.com starting July 23.
No news yet if we’ll see the device in the Philippines but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
