Free Smart WiFi is coming to the city of Manila

PLDT wireless unit Smart Communications has inked a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the city government of Manila to provide the city with free Smart WiFi. This particularly covers government offices, hospitals, universities, and other key areas.

The MOA was signed by PLDT chair and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan, Smart Chief Revenue Officer Alfredo S. Panlilio and Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso at the Manila City Hall, which will be one of the areas covered by Smart WiFi.
