The Poco X2 is set to debut on February 4, 2020. The news was announced on Poco India’s official Twitter account along with the hashtag “SmoothAF” and a new website setup that showcases the smartphone’s main features.
The Poco X2 is the first of multiple phones Poco might be launching this year. It was mentioned by a Poco executive that the plan was to launch more than one device. Plus, Xiaomi recently filed a trademark for the name POCO F2, which this is not.

More about the Poco X2, its website confirms that the upcoming phone will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display, liquid cooling, a Sony IMX686 sensor, a Qualcomm chipset, and some sort of fast charging. Images on the site also verify a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As for the details, well, the site has just the ones mentioned above. But there are rumors circulating around the web that the X2 could actually be a rebranded Xiaomi Redmi K30. If that is the case, then it might also have a 6.67-inch IPS display, a Snapdragon 730G processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging. There would be four rear cameras with 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors and two for selfies with 20MP + 2MP sensors.

Regardless of specs, though, we should expect a “beastly” phone with a price tag that’s easy on the pockets. After all, that’s how they got started when they launched the Pocophone F1.
