OnePlus launches the its latest lineup of premium flagship smartphones — the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.
The duo focuses on speed packing flagship features like 5G connectivity, Snapdragon 865 processors, high refresh rate displays, and Warp Charge 30T fast charging.
The series is available in global markets with the OnePlus 8 starting at USD 699 (around PHP 35,500) The OnePlus 8 Pro, on the other hand, starts at USD 899 (PHP 45,500).

OnePlus 8 Pro
The OnePlus 8 Pro is the jewel of the series with a larger 6.78-inch QHD Fluid AMOLED display. The panel features a 120Hz refresh rate with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a punch-hole cutout for the 16MP selfie shooter with a Sony IMX471 sensor equipped with EIS.
The OnePlus 8 Pro is powered by one of the fastest chips in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. It is supported by 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.0 storage.
Battery capacity sits at 4,510mAh with 30W Warp Charge 30T fast wired charging. The main draw here is the ultra fast 30W fast wireless charging, which works only with OnePlus’ proprietary wireless charger at the moment.

The quad rear cameras are lead by a 48MP main with a Sony IMX689 sensor. It is paired with a 48MP ultra-wide, an 8MP telephoto, and a 5MP color filter cameras.
The OnePlus 8 Pro comes in Onyx Black, Glacian Green, and Ultra Marine Blue.

OnePlus 8
The OnePlus 8 is the vanilla variant of the two, fronting a smaller 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 resolution. The panel has a 90Hz refresh rate with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a punch hole on the upper left for the 16MP selfie camera.
Inside, we also get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. The 4,300mAh battery has a fast 30W Warp Charge 30T fast charging.
The OnePlus 8 has triple rear cameras with a different setup. It has a 48MP main camera with a Sony IMX586 sensor. The secondary cameras include a 16MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP telephoto.
Despite the display size, the flagship boasts a compact body with thickness of just 8mm while weighing in at only 180 grams. It comes in Onyx Black, Glacial Green, and new color Interstellar Glow.
