GCash recently announced its latest suite of business solutions, geared towards micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and government institutions.
The GCash PowerPay+ offers a quick, safe and secure online dashboard for disbursements that can be accessed anytime, anywhere. The service allows GCash users at the other end to receive their money within seconds.
GCash and other e-wallets are paving the way for cashless and contactless solutions, especially during this time where self quarantine is becoming the new normal.

Here are some quick examples on how the system usher in the convenience of using GCash. In Makati City’s Makatizen program, PowerPay+ lets Makati citizens receive their Social Amelioration Funds through GCash.
Another good use is with the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) ReliefAgad program. They use the system to deliver aid to those who need it. And last, the Department of Transporation (DOTr), and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) are using GCash to develop a digital payment scheme for public transportation passengers.

As for GCash users and recipients, once they receive the money, they can quickly use it to pay for bills or pay for online and offline purchases. They can even send money to other GCash users, or send it to bank accounts and e-wallets through InstaPay for free.
