OPPO to launch 125W Super Flash Charge on July 15

OPPO plans to one up itself with a faster charging speed. They are gearing up to launch a new 125W Super Flash Charge technology on July 15.

Currently, the fastest fast charging technology belongs (at the time of this post) is OPPO’s own 65W SuperVOOC 2.0. The tech debuted on the OPPO Reno Ace, with claims of charging it from zero to a hundred percent in just 30 minutes.

Now, the feature is also available on the Find X2, Find X2 Pro, Reno 4, Reno 4 Pro, and the Ace 2.

At this point, OPPO has not yet released any details about this. Its interesting to see what kind of technology they will announce, and how they handled issues such as overheating and other safety concerns (like, I don’t know, blowing up).

But its safe to say that we’ll probably see it on a flagship first before it trickles down to midrange phones.

OPPO was one of the first companies to push fast-charging in the industry. They were the first to introduce 50W SuperVOOC in 2018 together with the OPPO Find X.
