OnePlus 8T to launch soon

OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus 8T 5G soon. There is no exact date yet, but the brand’s Indian Twitter account lists the phone as “coming soon.”

Apart from the teaser, the tweet also revealed that a dedicated OnePlus 8T 5G web page is now up. Interested customers (in India, of course), can register here to be notified when more details about the phone’s launch or availability are revealed.

OnePlus 8T 5G specs

According to reports, the OnePlus 8T 5G will have similar specs to the OnePlus 8, with key differences here and there.

It will have a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a punch hole selfie camera. Inside, there’s going to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. There’s a chance of a Snapdragon 865+, but we have to wait and see for now.

At the back is a quad camera setup with a 48MP main, a 16MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth. It also has a 32MP selfie shooter in front.

It also has a 4,500mAh battery with a blazing 65W fast charging. For context, realme’s 65W charger can top-up a phone with a similar battery capacity in less than an hour.

That’s it for now, we’ll post updates if more information pop-up.
