realme Watch S announced: Round display, SpO2 monitor

realme recently announced another new smartwatch, the realme Watch S, in Pakistan. If you recall, the world’s fastest growing and Philippines’ top 2 smartphone brand also launched its first smartwatch last May.

Unlike the square face of their first smartwatch, the realme Watch S features a 1.3-inch round touchscreen display with a 360 x 360 resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. It is equipped with several health monitoring functions, such as an automated heart rate monitor, blood oxygen measurement, a step counter, water intake reminders, sleep detection, and more.

As for sports and activity modes, it has 16 including popular exercise routines such as outdoor and indoor run, outdoor cycle, yoga, basketball, and much more.

Out of the box, the smartwatch has an aluminum case with two buttons on the right and Liquid Silicone straps in four color options.

Rounding off the watch’s feature list, it also has an IP68 water resistance rating of up to 1.5 meters, a 390mAh battery which allows up to 15 days of use, smart notifications, and music and camera controls.

The realme Watch S is priced at PKR 14,999, which is around ~Php 4,600 when converted locally. Unfortunately, we’re not yet sure if it will be available in the Philippine market.

Recently, realme announced the upcoming launch of the realme Narzo 20 in the Philippines. It features a large 6.5-inch display, a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, and a 6000mAh battery. You can read more about it here: realme Narzo 20 to launch in the Philippines on Nov. 5.
