Sony PlayStation 5 available for pre-order in the Philippines on Nov. 20

The Sony PlayStation 5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive will be available for pre-order in the Philippines starting November 20. The highly anticipated console will be available in local stores starting December 11 with a price of Php 27,990.

Those interested can pre-order the PS5 in the following partner retail stores:

  • Datablitz

PlayStation 5 Launch Day Games and Accessories

The following PS5 exclusive titles from Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) Worldwide Studios will be available at launch:

  • Astro’s Playroom (Japan Studio) – pre-installed on PS5
  • Demon’s Souls (Bluepoint Games / Japan Studio) – Php 3,490
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (Insomniac Games) – Php 2,490
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition (Insomniac Games) – Php 3,490
  • Sackboy A Big Adventure (Sumo Digital / XDEV) – PHP 2,990

The PS5 Ultra HD Blu-ray features a sleek futuristic design. With its black and white color scheme and smooth curves.

The console features a X86-64 AMD Ryzon Zen 2 CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads, clocked at up to 3.5GHz. Graphics are powered by a 10.3 TFLOPS AMD Radeon RDNA 2 engine with ray tracing acceleration, 16GB GDDR6 RAM, and 825GB on-board storage.

As for I/O, there’s an HDMI port, two USB-A ports, a USB-C port, and Ethernet port. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11ax and Bluetooth 5.1.
