Google, YouTube, GMail and other services are down

It looks like GMail, YouTube, and other Google services are down.

According to Downdetector, Google services are experiencing a massive outage, affecting several countries including the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, and some countries in Europe. The site reports that over half can’t access YouTube, over 80 percent can’t log-in to GMail or Google.

UPDATE: As of 8:30PM, the affected services are now up and running again in the Philippines.

User complaints are already showing up

A couple of days ago, Facebook Messenger also experienced issues with users complaining of unreceived messages and more. The issue was resolved within the same day.

As per testing, we were unable to access GMail, YouTube, Duo, and Maps – which remains down so far. But we were still able to use Google Search and access Google News.

We’ll update this post once we get more information about the issue.
