Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch of Mi MIX 4 on August 10 in China. The event will happen next Tuesday, 7PM.

The Mi MIX 3, launched way back in 2018. So its a bit surprising that its successor is coming three years later. Now, the poster seems to show several handsets, showcasing past designs and models. The one on the center looks like the Mi MIX Alpha from last year with a wrap around display. And you can make out one that resembles the Mi MIX 2 from 2017.

As for the upcoming device’s specs, reports say it will have a 6.6-inch OLED display with a 1080p resolution, either a Snapdragon 888 or 888+ processor, a 5000mAh battery with some sort of high wattage fast charging, possibly 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. The main camera is said to have a 50MP Samsung sensor. As for the OS, it will run on MIUI 12.5, based on Android 11.

That’s all we have about the phone for now. We’ll find out more when the Mi MIX 4 launch later this month.
