Apple has announced its first event for 2022, bearing the tagline “Peek Performance”. Apparently, that’s not a typo as they intentionally used “Peek”, instead of “Peak”, which might mean a glimpse of something new and powerful.
The event will be live-streamed on Apple’s website and YouTube channel on March 8. If you’re looking to watch it in the Philippines, be ready to sleep late. You can catch it on March 9, 2 AM PHT.
Apple is expected to announce the new iPhone SE and iPad Air, both rumored to come with faster processors and 5G connectivity. The former will also likely come with updated cameras.
Other rumors are also pointing to a new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, with Apple M2 processors. They could also announce a more powerful Mac Pro and Mac Mini.

As for the announcement itself, the event logo and tagline are typical of Apple, designed to have everyone guessing and further drumming up excitement. The hues could be new colorways of upcoming devices. Or we could very well see Apple moving its computers to their own homegrown chips. Either way, we’ll find out soon enough.
