OPPO will launch a new mid-range phone, the OPPO A96, in the Philippines on May 4.
Looking at the handset’s specs, it’s quite similar to the realme 9i with some differences here and there. Coincidentally, realme’s mid-range will also launch on the same day.
The OPPO A96 features a 90Hz 6.59-inch IPS display with a 2412 x 1080 resolution and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 5GB virtual RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage.
The phone has dual cameras at the back with a 50MP main, supported by a 2MP depth. It also has a 16MP selfie camera under a small punch hole.
