Day Shift, Extraordinary Attorney Woo top Netflix viewing in the Philippines

Netflix released the most watched titles in the Philippines, covering the period of August 8 to 14, 2022. And at the top, you have Jamie Foxx’s Day Shift for Films, and KDrama Extraordinary Attorney Woo for TV shows.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo has been the most watched TV show on Netflix Philippines for four consecutive weeks now. It has proved popular not just in the Philippines, but in 50 other countries as well. Since its debuted on Netflix last June 29, the show quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the most watched since July.

The legal KDrama stars Park Eun-bin who plays Woo Young Woo, a young lawyer with autism spectrum disorder who cracks cases in brilliant and unique ways. Other cast members include Kang Ki-young who plays our protagonist’s reluctant mentor-turned-ally, and Kang Tae-oh, the kind-hearted ally who works alongside Woo.

At the time of this article, Extraordinary Attorney Woo has scored a 9.1 on IMDb and an 80% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Day Shift Top Film on Netflix

Meanwhile, Day Shift is the most watched Film on the streaming platform. The film debuted on August12, and stars Jamie Foxx who plays a hard-working blue-collar dad, whose real job is hunting and killing vampires as part of an international Union of vampire hunters. It has an IMDb score of 6.8 and a Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score of 63%
