HONOR 70 5G to launch in the Philippines on Oct. 18

HONOR is set to launch its latest smartphone to the Philippine market. The HONOR 70 5G is coming on October 18, alongside the HONOR X6 and HONOR Pad 8.

The HONOR 70 5G is a powerful mid-range phone with a 120Hz 6.67-inch FHD OLED display, a 54MP camera with a Sony IMX800 sensor, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus. Although we’re not sure yet which configuration will come to the country, it has at least 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

The phone is the first to come with a 54MP Sony IMX800 sensor for its primary camera. It’s paired with 50MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth secondary cameras. Meanwhile, a 32MP front shooter takes care of selfie duties.

The HONOR 70 5G runs on Magic UI 6.1 on top of Android 12. It’s also equipped with a 4500mAh battery with support for 66W SuperCharge.

The official price of the HONOR 70 5G is not yet confirmed, but we’re guessing it’s going to be close to global prices of around PHP 25,990.
