OPPO has unveiled the new Reno9 series with three smartphones — the OPPO Reno9 5G powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, the OPPO Reno9 Pro 5G with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX, and the OPPO Reno9 Pro+ 5G with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.

The smartphones feature 120Hz AMOLED displays, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage.

OPPO Reno9 5G

Let’s start with the vanilla variant. The OPPO Reno9 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ support. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Only the top-end variant supports LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The Reno9 has a 50MP primary camera with a 2MP black and white secondary camera. While in front, it has a 32MP selfie shooter.

The phone also has a 4500mAh battery with support for 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging, and Android 13-based ColorOS 13.

As for the price, the OPPO Reno9 comes with an SRP of CNY 2,499 (around PHP 19,800+) for the 8GB+256GB model, CNY 2,699 (PHP 21,400+) for the 12GB+256GB model, and CNY 2,999 (PHP 23,800+) for the 12GB+512GB.

OPPO Reno9 Pro 5G

Next, we have the first of two Pro variants, the OPPO Reno9 Pro 5G. The smartphone has similar specs as the vanilla Reno9, including the same lightweight body, but with different rear cameras.

So we have the same 120Hz 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 4500mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

As for the cameras, it has a 50MP primary camera with an 8MP ultra-wide secondary camera. It also has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, as opposed to the vanilla Reno9 which only has both on the top-end variant.

The OPPO Reno9 Pro is priced at CNY 3,499 (PHP 27,700+) for the 16GB+256GB model, and CNY 3,799 (PHP 30,100+) for the 16GB+512GB model.

OPPO Reno9 Pro+ 5G

And finally, we have the last of the Pro models, the OPPO Reno9 Pro+ 5G. The smartphone also features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, but this one has curved sides, giving it a slightly slimmer profile.

It has a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro. And for selfies, there’s the same 32MP front camera found across the Reno9 lineup.

The smartphone also has the MariSilicon X NPU, a larger 4700mAh battery with a faster 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, and ColorOS 13.

The OPPO Reno9 Pro+ is priced at CNY 3,999 (PHP 31,700+) for the 16GB+256GB model and CNY 4,399 (PHP 34,800+) for the 16GB+512GB model.
