The Xiaomi 13 Pro, 13, and 13 Lite were unveiled in China last year. This time, the company launches the series to the global market at the MWC 2023.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 feature a new minimalistic design language that highlights its cameras. Both smartphones are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G connectivity, and IP68 dust and water resistance.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro boasts a 3D curved ceramic back and comes in Ceramic White and Ceramic Black. It sports a 120Hz 6.73-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with up to 1,900 nits peak brightness and a host of audiovisual technologies to boost an immersive viewing experience that includes Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, HLG, as well as Dolby Atmos support.
In the camera department, the 13 Pro is equipped with Leica Vario-Summicron 1.19-2.2/14-75 ASPH. camera system with a 50MP primary camera, backed by a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. It supports 10-Bit RAW DNG and Adobe Color Profiles and can capture videos in Dolby Vision and 4K Ultra Night Videos while offering HyperOIS video stabilization.
The smartphone’s secondary cameras also boast 50MP sensors for both the ultra-wide and telephoto lenses, with a 32MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro also features a large 4,820mAh battery with 120W HyperCharge, capable of charging to 100 percent in just 19 minutes.
The Xiaomi 13, on the other hand, features a 2.5D curved back design, available in Black, White, and Flora Green. It comes with a 6.36-inch FHD+ AMOLED display which boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 93.3 percent and 1.61mm ultra-thin bezels and chin.
The vanilla model features a Leica Vario-Summicron 1:1.8-2.2/15-75 ASPH. camera system with a 50MP primary camera backed by a Sony IMX800 sensor. The phone also has a 12MP ultra-wide and a 10MP telephoto lens at the back, along with a 32MP selfie shooter in front.
The Xiaomi 13 is also equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that also supports 67W wired and 50W wireless turbocharging.
Xiaomi also launches the Xiaomi 13 Lite. The smartphone features a 120Hz 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, along with a 4500mAh battery and 67W wired fast charging.

The handset has a pill-shaped hole punch that houses dual selfie cameras with a 32MP front primary and an 8MP depth shooter. While at the back, a triple camera setup is comprised of a 50MP primary with a Sony MX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro camera.
Price and Availability
The Xiaomi 13 Series will be available in international markets starting March 8, 2023.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro comes in two colors, Ceramic Black, and Ceramic White, and two storage variants, with a starting price of €1,299 (around ₱75,650 / $1,370).
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 13 comes in three colors, Black, White, and Flora Green, with two storage variants, starting from €999 (₱58,150 / $1,050).
And lastly, the Xiaomi 13 Lite also comes in three colors, Blue, Pink, and Black, with two storage variants, starting from €499 (₱29,050 / $530).
