GCash and IKON team up to extend digital financial services to OFWs

The partnership aims to provide and educate overseas Filipino workers (OFW) with essential digital financial services.

Gcash has teamed up with IKON Manning Solutions, its first talent-sourcing agency partner, to provide and educate overseas Filipino workers (OFW) with essential digital financial services.

OFWs are considered modern-day heroes because of their significant contribution to the growth of the Philippine economy through their remittances sent back home to support their families and loved ones.

With this, Gcash and IKON aim to provide them with a secure and convenient way to manage their finances, including sending money to the Philippines, paying bills, and purchasing mobile load, to name a few.

Through this partnership, Filipinos can find more career opportunities at IKON via the GJobs feature of the app. Furthermore, OFWs can also access GLoans and experience more convenient transactions with the recruitment agency as one of its partner merchant billers.

Additionally, GCash and IKON will conduct a financial literacy program to extend their support to 2.33 million OFWs. OFWs can exclusively access the services offered by IKON via the GCash app.

GCash is currently available in 16 countries where Filipinos can download and sign up for the GCash app, with their local SIMs, namely the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Germany, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Australia. Soon, the service will be expanding to Kuwait, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and eventually more countries in the future.

The GCash app is available for free on Google Play and the App Store. For more information, you can visit
