Smart Communications and TNT secured four awards at the 2024 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards for their creative and impactful campaigns.
Open to organizations across 29 Asia-Pacific markets, the Stevie Awards have been acknowledging innovative businesses since 2002.
TNT’s viral SIM Registration campaign, featuring humorous videos to encourage registration, received a Gold Award for Innovation in Cause-related Videos. The campaign’s success was evident in its millions of online engagements.
Another Gold Award landed with the groundbreaking TNT Petmaloop Challenge. This initiative, which set a Guinness World Record for the World’s Longest Travel Livestream, involved local content creators showcasing their hometowns’ “saya” (joy) on TikTok.
Further recognition came through a Silver Award for Innovation in Cross-Media Marketing for the FREE TikTok For All campaign. This campaign provided subscribers with free access to TikTok upon registering for select TNT promos.
Smart itself wasn’t left out, receiving a Bronze Award for Innovative Achievement for launching the first prepaid eSIM in the Philippines – the Smart Prepaid eSIM. This innovation brings the future of mobile connectivity to Filipinos nationwide.
Combined with eight Stevie Awards bagged by their parent company PLDT, Smart, and TNT solidify the PLDT Group’s position as the most-awarded Philippine telco this year.
Over 150 global professionals judged the entries, awarding Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevies based on average scores. This year, judges evaluated more than 1,000 nominations highlighting innovative achievements.
The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards joins a growing list of accolades for Smart and TNT, including recognitions from the TikTok Ad Awards Philippines, 16th Kidlat Awards, AdFest 2024, Boomerang 2023 Awards, Korea’s MAD Stars 2023, CLIO Sports, and BestAds, among others.
