Samsung recently launched the Galaxy A06 in Vietnam. The budget phone comes in two variants: 4GB+64GB priced at VND 3,190,000 (around Php 7,300 or USD 127) and 6GB+128GB for VND 3,790,000 (Php 8,700 or USD 151).
The Samsung Galaxy A06 is not that much different than the Galaxy A05. It also has a 6.7-inch HD+ display but this time with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It also has a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera and a secondary depth sensor.
The Galaxy A06 also features a side fingerprint scanner. It also has a flat back with vertical stripes, making the rear panel resistant to fingerprints. In addition, the phone runs on One UI. Samsung said it will get two major Android updates.
There’s no information yet on the phone’s availability in other regions. But given the popularity of the Galaxy A series in the Philippines, it’s highly likely that the A06 will eventually make its way to local shores.
