Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 update will bring Galaxy AI features to a wider range of devices. Starting in September, users of the Galaxy S24 series, S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series can expect the same AI-powered capabilities currently available on the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6.
Some of the notable AI features included in One UI 6.1.1 are:
- Interpreter: The Listening Mode feature will now be accessible on all eligible devices. Additionally, one-way translation will allow users to listen to presentations while simultaneously translating the content.
- Chat Assist: This feature simplifies the process of drafting emails, social media posts, and more. By simply inputting keywords, users can let Galaxy AI generate tailored messages based on their tone and personal style.
- Suggested Replies: Previously limited to the Galaxy Z Flip6, suggested replies will now be available on Galaxy S24 series devices, providing quick and convenient responses when connected to a compatible Galaxy Watch.
- Note Assist: This feature streamlines meeting notes by offering translation, note summaries, and a new transcript feature that converts voice recordings into text.
- Circle to Search with Google: This feature now provides step-by-step instructions for solving complex math problems and includes a new Sound Search function.
- Portrait Studio: Users can easily create professional-grade portraits in various styles, including 3D cartoon and watercolor.
- Instant Slow-mo: This feature allows for seamless slowing down of videos while maintaining smooth image quality.
The software update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is scheduled to begin rolling out in Korea on September 5, followed by North America and Europe on September 9. Updates for additional Galaxy devices and countries will be available in the coming weeks.
