Globe has activated 256 new 5G sites, boosting outdoor coverage to 98.45% in the National Capital Region (NCR). Key cities in Visayas and Mindanao also saw a jump in coverage, reaching 94.19%.
The network expansion reflects Globe’s ongoing push to enhance digital connectivity. By June 2024, over 7 million devices were registered on Globe’s 5G network, highlighting the growing demand for high-speed mobile data and Globe’s ability to deliver.
The telco has also secured 5G roaming partnerships with 167 operators across 87 destinations. These partnerships ensure Globe subscribers can enjoy high-speed data access both at home and abroad.
