Xiaomi announced its latest flagship, the Xiaomi 15S Pro. This new model introduces Xiaomi’s own Xring O1 processor, showcasing their push toward reducing reliance on third-party chip manufacturers such as Qualcomm and MediaTek.
The Xring O1 chipset is built on TSMC’s N3E 3nm process and features a ten-core CPU alongside a 16-core ARM Immortalis-G925 GPU and a 6-core NPU capable of up to 44 TOPS.
According to Xiaomi, the new chip outperforms Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite and rivals Apple’s A18 Pro in benchmark apps. On AnTuTu V10, it managed a score of over 3 million.
Beyond the new chipset, the Xiaomi 15S Pro has similar hardware to the Xiaomi 15 Pro. It boasts a 6.73-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display. On the camera front, the device sports a triple 50MP setup with Leica Summilux optics.
Keeping the lights on is a 6,100mAh silicon carbon battery that supports 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The device runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, based on Android 15. The smartphone also has an IP68 dust and water resistance for added durability.
Price and Availability
The Xiaomi 15S Pro starts at CNY 5,499 (₱42,260 or $763) for the 16GB+512GB variant and CNY 5,999 (₱46,106 or $833) for the top-tier model 16GB+1TB variant. It is available in Black and Blue colors.
The handset is already on sale in China. Xiaomi has yet to announce an international release. Stay tuned for updates.
