Xiaomi is preparing to roll out HyperOS 3, its next-gen software built on Android 16. As part of the transition, support for nine older smartphones will end. These devices have reached their end-of-life and will get their final security update in September 2025.
The affected models are Redmi A1, A1+, Redmi 11 Prime 4G, Poco C50, Poco M5, Xiaomi 11T, 11T Pro, Mi 11 Lite 5G NE, and Mi 11 LE. No new updates or bug fixes will come to HyperOS 2, as the company shifts its focus to HyperOS 3.
HyperOS 3 will bring smoother animations, better visual effects, faster performance, and a cleaner interface. Xiaomi hasn’t revealed which phones will get it first or when it will launch.
