Parking for airline travelers has just gotten cheaper. The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) announced a new system offering lower overnight parking rates for travelers.
NAIA has upgraded its parking system to better allocate spaces for actual airport users. As part of this update, passengers who present proof of travel can receive a 50% discount on overnight parking fees.
To qualify, travelers must:
- Park their vehicle and keep the parking ticket.
- Bring both the parking ticket and their boarding pass on their trip.
- Upon return, present both items at a designated validation counter.
Once verified, passengers will be charged only half of the standard overnight rate.
Last year, airport operator New NAIA Infra Corporation (NNIC) hiked the parking fee by a staggering 300%.
This new policy will benefit legitimate airport users, making parking more accessible and affordable for travelers. It also helps manage parking spaces at NAIA more effectively. The new system is now in effect.
