realme P4 Series launch set for August 20

The devices will feature quad cameras, fast charging, and long-term software support.

realme will launch its new P4 series smartphones in India on August 20, 2025. The news was confirmed by Francis Wong, realme’s Global Head of Product Marketing, in a post on X. He also hinted at the brand’s renewed push into online sales.

The lineup could include the realme P4 and P4 Pro. The phones will feature a quad-camera setup with a 64MP main sensor and a pop-up selfie camera. Both models will support 65W fast charging.

Under the hood, the phones will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, paired with a Hyper Vision AI GPU that could boost graphics and overall performance.

realme also announced long-term software support for several models. The P4 series, along with the P3 Ultra, P3 Pro, and P3, will get three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches. These will join the realme 14 Pro+, 14 Pro, 14T, and the realme 15 and 15 Pro, which will also have similar update policies.

Wong said the new P4 series is meant for online consumers, who will compete against vivo and Moto on Flipkart.

More details, including pricing and full specs, are expected closer to the launch date.
