HONOR Magic V Flip 2 launches with 200MP camera and bigger battery

Features a 200MP camera, a 5500mAh battery, dual OLED screens, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

HONOR has launched the Magic V Flip 2 in China, its newest foldable phone.

The Magic V Flip 2 features a 200MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Inside, there’s a 50MP selfie camera. The phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

It has two OLED screens. The inner display is 6.82 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits peak brightness. The cover screen is 4.0 inches, also with 120Hz and 3,600 nits brightness.

Battery life gets a boost with a 5,500mAh silicon-carbon cell. It supports 80W wired, 50W wireless, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.

The device runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0.1 and includes several AI features. It supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and dual SIM. It also has IP58/IP59 ratings for water and dust resistance.

Available in Purple, White, Gray, and a limited Blue edition, the Magic V Flip 2 starts at CNY 5,499 (around ₱43,690 / $766). Sales begin August 28 in China.
