Spotify launched a new beta feature called Mix for Premium users in the Philippines. It lets users add smooth transitions between songs in their playlists.
With Mix, users can choose transition styles like Fade or Rise, and adjust volume, EQ, and effects. The app also shows each song’s key and BPM, helping users match tracks for better flow. You can start with Auto for instant blending or customize each transition manually.
The feature works well with playlists used in workouts, parties, or long drives, essentially any time you want music to play without pauses.
Mixed playlists can be shared or edited with others who also have Premium. You can turn the Mix feature on or off anytime.
Users can also design custom cover art using stickers and labels made for mixed playlists.
To use Mix, update your Spotify app to the latest version. The feature is available now for Premium users in the Philippines.
