Apple confirms iPhone 17 launch event for September 9

The iPhone 17 Air is also expected to debut.

Apple has officially set its next product launch for September 9, 2025. The event will start at 10 AM Pacific Time at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. The invite tagline is “awe dropping,” which hints at big changes to come.

Apple is expected to reveal four new iPhones: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone 17 Air is also expected to arrive, a new model that will replace the Plus version. It’s very thin, said to be under 6mm, with only one rear camera and a smaller battery. These changes may affect how well it performs.

According to various reports, all iPhone 17 models will be made in India for the US market. Leaked images also show that the Pro versions will still have a physical SIM slot and a redesigned rear camera module.

The event will be streamed worldwide. Local times include 1 PM in New York, 6 PM in London, 7 PM in Central Europe, 10:30 PM in India, and 1 PM in the Philippines (September 10).

Apple hasn’t shared details yet, but the iPhone 17 Air will surely be the star of the show. Stay tuned for more updates.
