OPPO spotlights T’boli culture in Lake Sebu with new short film, now showing in BGC

Now showing on a 3D billboard in BGC.

OPPO has released a short film that highlights the traditions of the T’boli community in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. The project is a collaboration with Discovery and the Department of Tourism. It was filmed using the OPPO Reno14 Series 5G and is part of Discovery’s Culture in a Shot” program.

The film focused on the daily life and creative practices of the T’boli, including T’nalak weaving and brasswork. It aims to preserve and share Indigenous culture through respectful storytelling and modern technology.

Production was done with the guidance and consent of T’boli elders, and coordinated with local government and Indigenous groups.

The short film is now showing on a 3D billboard at One Bonifacio High Street in Taguig.
