OPPO reveals Find X9 series design ahead of launch

The handsets will launch on October 16.

OPPO has released teaser images of its upcoming Find X9 and Find X9 Pro smartphones on Weibo. The official photos show the full rear design of both models, confirming earlier leaks and giving a closer look at the camera layout.

The Find X9 series features a redesigned camera island with the Hasselblad branding. Instead of the circular module used in the previous Find X8 lineup, the new phones have a squircle-shaped camera bump.

The standard Find X9 closely resembles the leaked OnePlus 15, but includes a Hasselblad logo. OnePlus has confirmed it will no longer use Hasselblad branding, opting for its own DetailMax Engine instead.

Both OPPO phones appear to have four rear cameras. The Find X9 Pro includes a periscope telephoto lens, suggesting more powerful zoom capabilities.

OPPO has also hinted at new AI features for the Find X9 series. The phones are expected to include dedicated AI buttons, though full details are still under wraps.

The Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will launch in China on October 16, with a global release to follow. It follows a very busy month that will also see new flagships from vivo and realme.

More specs and software features are expected to be announced soon. Stay tuned for further updates.
