Xiaomi Pad mini announced with 3K display, Dimensity 9400+ and fast charging

Features a 3K display, MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip, and $429 starting price.

Xiaomi has introduced the Pad mini. The tablet features an 8.8-inch IPS display with a 3K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 700 nits peak brightness. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10.

Under the hood, the Pad mini runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor. It comes in two variants: 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB.

The rear camera is a 13MP sensor capable of 4K video recording. The front camera is 8MP for video calls and selfies.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The tablet also has quad speakers with Dolby Atmos. It’s compatible with both a Keyboard Cover and a Smart Cover.

The Pad mini runs HyperOS 2 and is available in two colors: Purple and Gray. Battery capacity is 7,500mAh, with support for 67W wired fast charging and 18W reverse charging.
