Xiaomi has officially stopped software support for nine smartphones across its Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO brands. These devices will no longer receive Android upgrades or security patches. While they’ll still work, however, users won’t get future updates.
The list includes budget, mid-range, and flagship models. The company says this is part of its regular update cycle. The company now announces end-of-life (EOL) status upfront, unlike before, when updates quietly stopped.
Budget phones like the Redmi A1, A1+, and POCO C50 are among the first to go. These launched with MIUI 13 on Android 12 and haven’t received updates in over a year.
Flagship models Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro end on HyperOS 1 with Android 14. The Mi 11 Lite 5G NE and Mi 11 LE finish on HyperOS 2. Mid-range phones POCO M5 and Redmi 11 Prime 4G are also on the list.
