vivo has announced the Y500 Pro in China, a midrange phone with standout features in display, camera, and battery. The phone joins the Y500 and brings several upgrades.
The phone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+ and reaches up to 1600 nits of brightness. Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
For photos, the Y500 Pro packs a 200MP main camera using Samsung’s HP5 sensor, plus a 2MP depth lens. The front camera is 32MP. It also includes stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Battery is a major highlight. The phone carries a large 7000mAh battery with 90W fast charging. It’s rated IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance, and vivo says it can handle up to 2,000 minor drops without losing protection.
Other features include Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It comes in four colors: Auspicious Gold, Light Green, Soft Pink, and Titanium Black.

Prices start at CNY 1,799 (around ₱14,950 / $253) for the base model. Sales begin November 14 in China. Details on availability in other regions have not yet been announced. Stay tuned for updates.
