OPPO x MLBB Barangay Caravan brings esports to Pampanga and Bulacan courts

OPPO Philippines partnered with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) to bring esports to local communities through the Barangay Caravan, transforming barangay courts in Pampanga and Bulacan into gaming hubs.

The initiative featured 5v5 tournaments, booth activities, and smartphone experiences designed to connect with Gen Z players at the grassroots level.

The caravan hosted matches in barangays across Pandi, Bulacan, and Angeles, Pampanga. OPPO co-presented official tournaments in Brgy. Bagong Barrio, Brgy. Barrio, Brgy. Cuayan, and Brgy. Sto. Domingo.

Winning teams received OPPO A3x smartphones, while standout MVPs took home the new OPPO A6 Pro. Other stops, including Brgy. Cacarong Bata and Brgy. Panginay Cuayan, saw OPPO join as a major sponsor, supporting the tournament atmosphere and on-site activities.

Beyond the matches, the caravan offered interactive segments such as OPPO Legends Henyo, where participants tested their MLBB knowledge for prizes. Booth activations and giveaways added to the community engagement, making the event more accessible and inclusive.

The project showcased mobile gaming as a social activity. It also reinforced the accessibility of esports for young players outside traditional arenas.
