OPPO unveiled its roadmap for a next-generation AI Operating System (AIOS) at the Google Cloud Export Summit in Beijing. The company is working with Google Cloud to transform smartphones into intelligent companions focused on memory symbiosis and privacy protection.
OPPO says current AI features often fall short in three areas: retaining, finding, and anticipating information. To solve this, it introduced AI Mind Space, powered by Google Gemini. The feature works like a “second brain,” organizing text, images, and voice data to deliver personalized answers from stored memories.
The roadmap also introduces AI Search, which lets users find information across apps using everyday language. It also adds AI Suggest, a feature that uses real-time context and memory data to offer proactive recommendations. Together, these tools aim to deliver a more seamless and personalized experience.
Privacy is a key focus. OPPO introduced the Private Computing Cloud (PCC), a secure extension of AIOS built on Google Cloud’s Confidential Computing. PCC lets data be used without being exposed, strengthening user trust while supporting advanced AI features.
OPPO’s AI strategy is built on three pillars: on-device computing, the PersonaX memory symbiosis engine, and the Agent Matrix framework. With Google Cloud, the company is promoting agent-to-agent interoperability to create an open ecosystem that enables seamless cross-app and cross-scenario services.
